Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy II to Host 'Know Your Rights' Immigration Town Hall and Resource Fair

Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy II invites the community to attend the Know Your Rights: Immigration Town Hall and Resource Fair on Wednesday, April 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Pearson Community Center (1625 W Carey Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89032).

The resource fair will feature local organizations such as ACLU Nevada, the Consulate of Mexico in Las Vegas, UNLV Immigration Clinic, and others. These organizations will offer guidance, information about immigration rights and resources, and services to assist the immigrant community.

The resource fair will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and again from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.; while the town hall discussion will take place from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“Providing our immigrant communities with clear, accurate, and timely information about their rights is not just important, it’s essential,” said Clark County Commissioner William McCurdy II. “This town hall serves as a platform to connect residents with resources and knowledgeable experts, equipping them with the tools they need to confidently address and navigate complex immigration matters.”

The event is open to the public. The town hall will be transmitted online via Facebook Live through Clark County’s English and Spanish social media channels. Spanish interpreters will also be available during the event.
