Clark County Social Service (CCSS) extends transportation assistance to indigent individuals in Clark County, facilitating their return to their respective state/county of residence as per NRS 428.080.

Eligible individuals seeking transportation beyond the local area receive support through the provision of bus tickets, fuel stipends, and flights for individuals with special needs. When traveling by motor vehicle or bus, funds for food are also made available. For individuals traveling in their own vehicle with a fuel stipend, a valid driver’s license, current car insurance and vehicle registration are required at the time of assistance. It's essential to note that individuals or households receiving transportation assistance from CCSS are ineligible for financial assistance for a period of five (5) years from the date of the transportation assistance issuance. We aim to provide seamless support while adhering to established guidelines for a more effective and sustainable assistance program.
