Applications to Serve on Business Development Advisory Council Due Oct. 4

Clark County is seeking volunteers to serve on the 2025-2026 Business Development Advisory Council (BDAC) to help promote the County’s equal opportunity business programs.

Applicants with business ownership or management experience or involvement in organizations that support business are encouraged to apply by Friday, Oct. 4. Applications are available on Clark County’s Office of Community and Economic Development at https://tinyurl.com/45smcdym. A resume or letter of interest is required to be submitted with applications and can be emailed to the office at CCEconDev@ClarkCountyNV.gov. Applications also can be delivered to the County Manager’s Office reception desk located on the 6th floor of the Clark County Government Center during regular business, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

The BDAC is comprised of nine members appointed by the Clark County Commission to serve terms of two years. The council meets at least four times a year. Responsibilities include advising the County Commission on methods to enhance the County’s equal business opportunity program and working with agencies and organizations involved with aiding and promoting local small women-owned and minority business enterprises. The council also works with the state of Nevada’s entrepreneurial office to identify new businesses and supports the County’s Small Business Opportunity Program.
