Silverado Ranch Community Center Grand Opening
After nearly a decade, Clark County is getting ready to open the Silverado Ranch Community Center (SRCC) with a week full of festivities. This brand new, state-of-the-art facility is located on the northeast corner of the Silverado Ranch Park at 9855 Gilespie Street.
Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft will officially open the SRCC Saturday, May 11th with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. The fun will continue with food trucks, a DJ, field games in the amphitheater, instructor meet-and-greets, art activities, and more.
Throughout the week of May 13th, the SRCC is also hosting a Family Foodie Fest with Slater’s 50/50, Candle Making for Seniors, SRCC Track Club on the indoor track, an outdoor movie and more. For a list of all the grand opening activities, click here.
“I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to finally open this incredible facility in District A,” said Commissioner Naft. “After talking with neighbors in the area, bringing their ideas to life, and now opening its doors, I know the Silverado Ranch Community Center will serve the area well, especially the indoor walking track and demonstration kitchen. Community Centers improve the quality of life for area residents, raise property values, and provide safe spaces for people to thrive.”
Some of the amenities at the SRCC include exercise and fitness rooms, dance and yoga amenities, indoor gymnasium complete with pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts, multipurpose classrooms, conference room space and an arts and crafts area. In addition, there are also two amenities that are ‘firsts’ for any community center in the valley: an indoor walking track with two 3-foot-wide lanes and a demonstration kitchen that can host live cooking demos.
