As Southern Nevada gears up for the Super Bowl on Feb. 11, partial lane restrictions and road closures are beginning to occur around Allegiant Stadium to accommodate the event. Several proposed closures for dates closer to the event are pending review and approval by Clark County’s Public Works Department. The proposed schedule of closures is on the Super Bowl Host Committee’s website at https://lvsuperbowlhc.com/road-closures/.  Please note the schedule is subject to change.

• Full closure of Al Davis Way from Allegiant Stadium Way to Dean Martin Avenue through Feb. 15.
• Full closure of Allegiant Stadium Way from Hacienda Avenue to Al Davis Way through Feb. 15.
• Lane restrictions on Polaris Avenue from Hacienda Avenue to Dewey Drive through Feb. 2 with business access maintained.
• Lane restrictions on Dean Martin Drive from Russell Road to northeast of Lot N Jan. 18 – Feb. 7, one lane northbound & one lane southbound.
• Lane restrictions on Las Vegas Boulevard from Flamingo Road to Bellagio Drive for stage construction and intermittent sidewalk closure through Feb. 16.

Additionally, in advance of the Super Bowl event, Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is scheduled to remove the temporary vehicular bridge at Flamingo Road and Koval Lane starting at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 21, through 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1. During this period, the intersection of Flamingo Road and Koval Lane will be closed to traffic in all directions to remove the bridge. Clark County has launched an SMS text update system to provide commuters with alerts about road closures and traffic impacts related to the Super Bowl. The public can opt-in to the service by texting SBLV to 31996. Subscribers will receive a text message on Sundays announcing traffic impacts and closures so they can plan for the week ahead. Other reminders and updates may be sent as needed. Super Bowl-related information also is on the county’s website at www.ClarkCountyNV.gov/SBLV. The public also can opt-in to receive text alerts related to LVGP by texting F1LV to 31996.

The public is reminded that several agencies have construction projects under way in the resort corridor area. Motorists are advised to anticipate traffic delays and consider alternate routes.
