I’ve been working with a youth for several months who struggled to integrate back into the school setting after becoming accustomed to online learning during the pandemic, while also facing mental health challenges. Many schools rejected my request to enroll the student, as they were unwilling to accommodate someone trying to join so late in the school year. After reaching out to multiple schools, I was able to find a solution with Delta Academy, which was able to meet the student’s needs and enroll him to continue his education. Additionally, I helped him get enrolled at Shining Star, where he received the support needed to establish a routine and find stability, making it easier for him to attend school regularly.
