Pursuant to Clark County Code—Chapter 16.06, a Clark County Public Works (CCPW) Special Event Permit is required to conduct an event when the activity impacts the normal flow of traffic of any public street or right-of-way within unincorporated Clark County. Public right-of-way includes sidewalks, medians, and trails. Each permit requires coordination with several County departments and outside agencies. The permits are issued to ensure that the County's infrastructure is protected and that traffic has minimal disruptions.

Please note: A Special Event Permit Package may be submitted to Clark County Public Works, in its entirety, as early as thirteen (13) months but no less than one (1) month prior to the event. By temporary amendment to Title 16.06.040 by the Board of County Commissioners.

The Special Event Permit (SEP) Package includes:

• Special Event Permit Information
• Special Event Permit Application
• Special Event Hold Harmless Agreement
• Copy of the proposed Traffic Control Plan provided by your barricade company AND
  
• Copy of Certificate of Insurance listing Clark County and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department as additional certificate holders with the minimum amounts required by Clark County Code 16.06.070. (Sample Attached)
