Art & Music Collage Workshop with Julia Hall

Families and the public are invited to learn to create three-dimensional collages inspired by music. Participants’ work will then be integrated into a larger public art installation at the center.

Youth Public Art Exhibition at Whitney Community Center

Our artists created temporary public art with elements created or inspired by children. These artists developed skills in workshop facilitation, community engagement, public art creation, collaboration, project management, and learned how to maintain artistic creativity and vision while attending to the demands of the public. Artists will be showing works from their assigned residencies at various Clark County facilities.

Exhibition runs January 15-February 4, 2025
Exhibition Reception: January 16, 2025, 5pm-7pm
Whitney Recreation Center, 5712 Missouri Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89122.
The center is open Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 6:00pm and closed Saturday and Sunday.

Stamp Making Workshop with Ericka Muecke

Children at the Bob Price winter break day camp will create stamps, which will then be integrated into a larger public art installation at the center.

Dream Workshop with Rebecca Goodman

Children at the Helen Meyer winter break day camp will create paintings and writings that illustrate dreams, which will then be integrated into a larger public art installation at the center.
