Clark County Public Art Office is excited to announce the Amphitheater Mural at Parkdale Recreation and Senior Center. “Building Foundations to Enrich Community Through Kindness” mural was designed and painted by Cody K Wombold of CKW Artistry.
Back in August of 2023, Parkdale Recreation Center reached out to the Public Art office to request artwork at their center to celebrate the new basketball courts they were approved to remodel. With the direction of a jury panel, the Public Art office reached out to local artist, Cody K Wombold to take on the project.
Cody hosted several engagements with the community of Parkdale including a Chalk Fest during the center’s food pantry day. After his time with the public, Cody created a design to paint on the outdoor concrete amphitheater in front of the center leading to the new basketball courts.
