The Clark County Law Library offers free computer access to patrons conducting legal research. Computer usage is only intended for legal research and the preparation of legal documents. The Law Library's computers are available Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 5:15pm. Sign up for use of library computers requires a photo ID. Prints are $0.25 per page, or may be deducted from a copy card at $0.16 per page. The computers have access to a number of features including Internet access and word processing.  

The Law Library also subscribes to a variety of databases for public use.  Access is free to patrons using library computers during normal operating hours. 

For patrons that wish to access the Internet using their phone, laptop, tablets or other wireless devices, the Law Library offers free Wi-Fi access.

HEINONLINE
HeinOnline is a premier online database which contains many pages and titles of historical and government documents in a fully searchable, image-based format. HeinOnline provides comprehensive coverage from inception of more than 2,800 law-related periodicals. The also contains the entire Congressional Record, Federal Register, and Code of Federal Regulations, complete coverage of the U.S. Reports back to 1754, and entire databases dedicated to treaties, constitutions, case law, world trials, classic treatises, international trade, foreign relations, U.S. Presidents, and much more.
Staff is available to show patrons basic search methods.  A variety of Training Guides are available online through HeinOnline Help & Support.

WESTLAWNEXT
WestlawNext® is a powerful research tool that can be used to search for case law using citations or natural language. Patrons may also use Westlaw® to access case histories via KeyCite®, jury verdicts, and reference sources.

Staff is available to show patrons basic search methods. Training videos and user guides are available online through the Westlaw Training & Support webpage.

LEXISADVANCE
Lexis Advance® is a powerful research tool that can be used to search for case law using citations or natural language.  Patrons may also Shepardize® cases and search other legal reference sources.
