Directly Notify the Election Department
When you change your address, name, or political party, PROPERLY inform the Election Department as soon as possible to ensure you will continue to receive important election materials, such as mail ballots and sample ballots, and also to avoid delays when you vote. Quickly see your registration information on record by logging in to Registered Voter Services and selecting View My Registration Information from the dropdown menu.
 
Confidentiality Request (Address and Telephone Number)
Login to our Registered Voter Services and select Make My Address and Phone Number Confidential from the dropdown menu to complete, print, and sign a form to mail (Clark County Election Dept., 965 Trade Dr., Suite A, North Las Vegas, NV 89030) or FAX (702-455-2981). You may also call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a form. You may request that your address and telephone number in our voter registration records be withheld from the public, pursuant to NRS 293.558(3).  
 
Address Changes
Several options are available: (1) If you have a Nevada Driver's License or Nevada State Identity Card, you may change your address online at the Nevada Secretary of State's website; (2) Log in to Registered Voter Services and select Change My Address from the dropdown menu to complete and print a form to mail; (3) During the check-in process at any early voting site or Election Day Vote Center of your choice, you may update your address; or (4) You may also call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a form for updating your address be mailed to you. If non-forwardable mail, such as your Voter Registration Card or sample ballot, is returned as "undeliverable" or indicating you’ve moved, your registration may become "inactive." The National Voter Registration Act (NVRA) requires the Election Department to CANCEL your registration if your registration is "inactive" and you do not vote in two consecutive federal elections. You must then re-register to vote again.
         
Election Mail for a Person NOT at Your Address
To notify the Election Department that you are receiving election mail for a person not residing at your address, you must submit a written report. A Residency Discrepancy Report form is available on the Internet for you to print, complete, and mail. You may also call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a form be mailed to you.
  
Political Party Changes
Several options are available: (1) If you have a Nevada Driver's License or Nevada State Identity Card, you may change your political party affiliation online at the Nevada Secretary of State's website; (2) log in to Registered Voter Services and select Change My Party Affiliation from the dropdown menu to request a Voter Registration Application; (3) During the check-in process at any early voting site or Election Vote Center of your choice, you may change your party; or (4) You may also call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a form be mailed to you.
 
Name Changes
Login to our Registered Voter Services and select Change My Name from the dropdown menu to request a Voter Registration Application be mailed to you. You may also call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a voter registration application be mailed to you. When you change your name by marriage or other legal means, properly complete a Voter Registration Application in its entirety and include your new name and handwritten signature. No proof of the change is required. You may also update your name in your voter registration records during the check-in process at any early voting site or Election Vote Center of your choice using the same-day registration udpates process. 
 
Canceling Your Own Registration
Login to our Registered Voter Services and select Cancel My Voter Registration from the dropdown menu to complete and print a form to mail. You may also call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a form be mailed to you.  You may cancel your own registration at any time, but the cancelation must be in writing. If you move outside of the County, you should immediately cancel your registration. Neighbors, friends, relatives, etc., CANNOT cancel the registration of another voter. 
 
Deceased Voter Reporting
A Deceased Voter Report form is available on our website for you to print, complete, and mail. You may also call (702) 455-VOTE (8683) to request a form be mailed to you. Anyone may report a deceased voter. We always verify the report before taking action.
